Emergency Responder Radio Systems (ERRS) is a new technology that has been around for a little while. This type of system essentially assists the fire department, police departments, and EMT services to enable them to use their issued radio system inside a building during an emergency. The system involves testing, permitting, and then installing required signal boosters to allow all these services to communicate with each other during a building emergency. This system is becoming more of a requirement with JHA’s (Jurisdiction Having Authorities) due to the ability of the emergency services to do their jobs effectively.
